  • What is the Bonding policy for minors?

    All clients must sign a Waiver Form before their welding session begins. For clients under 18, a waiver must be signed by a Parent or Parent Guardian. Unfortunately, at this time, we are not servicing clients under the age of 13.

  • What is the metal type of your Gold-filled jewelry?

    All our Gold-Filled items are made of quality brass sourced in the US and layered with 14K Gold or Rose Gold.

  • Do you have solid gold options?

    Yes! We offer 14K solid yellow or white gold options. But our Solid Gold chains are cut-to-order. Meaning, that we stock our supply based on our client demand. This is why we strongly recommend booking for an event at least 3-4 weeks in advance to ensure our supply of solid gold is available. Please note, that our Rose Gold options are either Gold-Filled or Vermeil.

  • Does the process hurt?

    OH GOSH, NO! Not only is the process over in a matter of seconds, but we also provide our clients with a leather strap and protective glasses (for those with sensitive sight) to wear during their welding session to ensure a safe and pleasant experience!

  • Can I change my mind about something I chose during booking? Can I change my booking?

    Yes, you can make a change to your booking. You can add or remove up to 48 hours before the date of the booking. Just shoot us an email and we can get started on making your event forever fantastic! For cancellations, please see the policy attached to your booking confirmation.

  • Will it [permanent jewelry] ever fall off or tarnish?

    Absolutely not! Our chains were sourced after thorough and considerate research. They've also been tested by our team to ensure quality wear. However, we know that things can happen. We offer complimentary repairs for the first 45 days should an incident occur, and a 25% discount on any replacements are needed after the initial 45 days. A Gilded Bond cannot replace any jewelry damaged or lost due to outside sources at this time.

  • Are your permanent charms also gold filled or solid gold?

    Both! AGB is committed to providing a beautiful and luxurious experience for every budget. So we provide solid gold charms as well as gold-filled ones!

  • What about your custom charm selections? Do they tarnish?

    The charms found in our custom charms range from unclassified gold plated alloy and zinc charms (of the same quality found in stores such as H&M and Forever21) to Stainless Steel and 14K+ plated brass.

    While with zinc and alloy charms, you may see slight discoloration after some wear, with proper care and handling your charm jewelry will see a long life of color that stays true and vibrant.

    We do recommend our brass charms for the highest quality of life.

  • I have sensitive skin, is your jewelry safe for me?

    Absolutely! Not only are our charm bar chains made of hypo-allergenic stainless steel but our permanent jewelry is also made from graded quality brass and/or solid gold. So you can rest assured that our jewelry is safe to wear for delicate skin or extreme allergies.

  • What if a I changed my mind and want the jewelry removed?

    No worries! We'll be more than happy to remove any permanent jewelry for $25 and we will also weld a clasp to the jewelry should the client request it for repurpose later on. The clasp is completely complimentary!

  • I got a permanent piece but it fell off, what do I do? :'(

    While we would love for our jewelry to remain "permanent," we understand that normal wear and tear get in the way of everlasting glory or, sometimes accidents just happen. We ask for your understanding of this as well. However, worry not because, at A Gilded Bond, we are committed to providing a comforting and secure experience to our clients. Regarding permanent jewelry purchases, please see below;

    All permanent jewelry is final sale and non-refundable, as they are made-to-order and can no longer be used after cutting/welding.

    AGB clients rest assured that should a chain fall off for any reason, AGB guarantees free one-time repairs for the first 45 days following the date of purchase. Just contact us via email or on Instagram DM, and we'' set up a repair appointment!

    What if it falls off a second time?

    Although this would be an infrequent situation, should this occur only our first repair is complimentary. Still, please email us right away so that we may discuss options comfortable and fair for both our AGB welders and you.

  • Fall off's and/breaks

    My permanent chain fell off and I lost it, so I don't have the original chain for repair, what do I do?

    For the first 45 days after your initial purchase, we can replace a permanent chain at 65% off for gold-filled or sterling silver pieces, and 45% off for solid white or yellow gold options. Please note, that only the original chain of purchase can be selected for a discounted replacement.

    I didn't get permanent jewelry, I just got a charm accessory and a charm fell off. What do I do?

    Message us right away! Unlike permanent jewelry, our charm jewelry is not welded on. Therefore, sometimes it's plausible a charm can slip through its jump ring and get lost :,(

    For the first 30 days following your charm accessory purchase, we will send you a replacement charm + jump ring to self-apply at home, or, if you stop by a pop-up event with proof-of-purchase date, we will fix it for you with your new charm in play.

    At this time, we are not offering any replacements for charms lost after the 30 days as well we are not offering any replacements for zinc or alloy charms that may not have held up after the 30 days as well.
